Eddie's Got a Mustang from M.I.A.Darrelyne Bickel is a Metis Singer/Songwritter/Musician from The Pas, Manitoba. At 16 years old she has an EP titled 'M.I.A.' under her belt and from this EP two #1 single's on NCI's Aboriginal Top 30 Countdown.
Darrelyne received her first APCMA in November 2009, taking home Minister Erik Robinson's Most Outstanding Manitoban Award. 2009 was a busy year because Darrelyne also got her first taste of reality TV on YTV's 'The Next Star,' making the top six and staying on the show for the duration of the season. Her well-known single, 'Eddie's Got A Mustang,' is to appear in the movie Casino Jack, starring Kevin Spacey and Kelly Preston sometime in 2010.
Darrelyne's future plans are to start recording a full length album, starting with making a trip back to Toronto to record with Dave Thomson, Producer and co-writter of her latest single 'Solitude of Sunday,' which can be found on The Next Star Season Two Album.
