Singer-Songwriter Holly Vee (aka Holly Vezina-Bandura)

“I’m on the Bit with my new CD “LOVE, SPURS & ROCK’N’ROLL” and here’s an invite into my life!

“I am a true homegrown, prairies, outdoor country girl, right down to the soles of my country rock cowboy boots! And make no mistake, music and people energize my being and fuel the passions of my heart, and always have. Creative inspirations surface in the face of simple real life issues or a song is born while fishing, berry picking, bike riding, walking through the forest or perhaps just having a heart to heart talk with a friend. Satisfaction and peace are the rewards even during difficult times and a good song seals the day!”

“It has been said that I sang in falsetto before I could speak and by 4 years of age, I could silence my two sister’s teases by creating a song that put smiles on everyone’s faces. The gift of music has continued to make the world a better place. Growing up I sang at family gatherings, in church concerts, musical talent shows, and every opportunity that allowed me on a stage – I could never get enough of it!”

“As a grownup, I now consider my career path as a professional registered nurse a God-send, as it provided opportunities to support my children, connect with awesome people and develop a new perspective for painting the canvas of the singer-songwriter career that has been kept alive. And ready to thrive! I am very proud to say that 95% of my recordings are self-financed. ”

“I sang with “Sonny and the Hurricanes for 7 years at major shows and in 2002 I won a talent contest sponsored by the Manitoba Metis Federation and subsequently made my first CD. It was just straight cover tunes ranging from Patsy Cline to Led Zepplin.

“The time has come to embrace all of who I am, to showcase and boldly present Holly Vee, singer-songwriter and recording artist. The faithful support of my family, friends and fans encourages me to write my name across the sky in stars! Holly Vee is ready to Rock Country Style.
