Cassidy Mann may be only 16 years old but don't let her young age fool you, she is ready to leave her mark on the Canadian music scene. Cassidy writes songs with the approach of someone twice her age yet her songs reflect the innocence of a young girl finding her own way through the trials of growing up. While just finished grade 11 Cassidy feels most at home on stage and in the studio.

In July of 2011, Cassidy was chosen as a Galaxie Young Performer at The Winnipeg Folk Festival and is excited to announce she will be a part of the program once again in 2012. During Canadian Aboriginal Music Week this past year, she got the chance to showcase her music in Toronto and with strong, seasoned professionals continuing to her grow, she looks forward to showcasing her original songs on more stages across Canada!

Cassidy's first EP, released last June, is currently available in Winnipeg at McNally Robinson (Grant Park/online), Into the Music, Music Trader, Planet Sound and the Folk Fest Store. You can also find her music on iTunes. Currently in the studio recording, Cassidy is excited about releasing new music this summer.
