Rik Leaf is releasing his fourth full-length CD at the end of March 2009. Featuring English, French, First Nation and Métis musicians and singers, the album fuses world Indigenous folk-roots music with Rik's thought provoking poetic lyrics.
The production team included Nolan Balzar from da Capo, Howard Rissin from MIDCAN and Carlin Lemon from Lemon Fresh Studios.
Featuring Marie-Josee Dandeneau, a Métis multi instrumentalist and Rik's long time collaborator on fretless and upright bass and guest musicians including St. Boniface's harmonica guru Gerald Laroche, Francophone Chanteuse Marie-Josee Clement, Traditional Aboriginal vocalist, Ray Co-Co Stevenson, Oh My Darling's Allison De Groot on banjo and Jeremy Penner on fiddle.
Photographers William Au & Rebecca Croft and Craig Medwyduk from Guppy Design took the visual and graphic design to a whole new level of artistic expression.
