Introducing The Eight Days in May, Eh! Festival

Sonia Eidse, Evan Reeve, Dustin Harder, Rodney Contois, and Lorenzo are some of the Aboriginal artists performing in the “Eight Days in May, Eh!” festival this month in Winnipeg. The performances have been put together by Harder, a local Métis guitar slinger and front man of The Dusty Roads Band.

The shows began on May 2 with sets by six acts at J Fox’s, followed by a longer concert at The Academy on the 5^th. Each show starts at 8pm and the rest of the schedule includes Ragpickers on May 6, Le Garage on May 7, The Yellow Dog Tavern on May 8, Le Garage on May 10, The Academy on May 12, and La Salle Hotel on May 15.

The May 6 concert is open to families and youth. It will also be streamed online, so anyone with an internet connection will be able to check out the performances.
