The Great Unknown has earned Eagle & Hawk another trophy from the Indian Summer Music Awards (ISMA) in Milwaukee. The winners for each of the 14 categories were announced at a ceremony on September 11 during the Indian Summer Festival and the JUNO Award winning rockers brought home the hardware from the Contemporary & Modern Instrumental Category.

Country rocker Kimberley Dawn also came away victorious, earning the Rock Category ISMA for her new CD entitled Built That Way.

Eagle & Hawk have been quite successful at the ISMA- Sirensong won top honours in the Alternative Rock and Classic Rock categories in 2009 and the group is a regular on the Indian Summer Festival stages each year.

The ISMA exist solely to recognize, promote, and honor the best of Native American Indian music. The competition is open to both established and emerging artists and entries are judged by a panel of professionals from the music and entertainment industries.
