Yellowbird, Clark, and Kokol earn Country music nominations

Shane Yellowbird, Terri Clark, and songwriter Troy Kokol are up for Canadian Country Music Awards this year. The list of nominees was released on July 27 by the Canadian Country Music Association.

Yellowbird's single "Watching You Walk Away" is nominated for Single of the Year and his television doc "Music City" is in the running for Country Music Program or Special of the Year.  Yellowbird team members Evan Ehgoetz, Louis O'Rielly, and O'Reilly International Entertainment Management are nominated for Steel Guitar, Record Company Person of the Year, and Management Company of the Year, respectively.

Clarke is nominated in the Fan's Choice Award and the Female Artist of the Year categories.

Troy Kokol is one of three co-writers nominated in the Songwriter(s) of the Year category for "Watching You Walk Away," recorded by Shane Yellowbird.
