Tracy Bone - AMP Mentor in Residence for September

Tracy Bone will be the Aboriginal Music Program's (AMP) Mentor in Residence for the month of September. Starting on Tuesday, September 6, she will be available for one-on-one career consultations, phone and email questions, and songwriting feedback at the Manitoba Music Resource Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Aboriginal songwriters and musicians of all ages and experience, residing in Manitoba, are encouraged to submit in-office consultation requests, call in with questions about the music industry, or email Tracy for advice and feedback. Terrilyn Lavallee will be  taking messages for Tracy over the phone and email questions can be sent to Tracy at the ampmentor@manitobamusic.com address.

ABOUT TRACY BONE:
Tracy Bone is an award winning country singer from the Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation in Manitoba.

She has shared the stage with CCMA Hall of Fame Inductees Prairie Oyster, CCMA’s Female Artist of the Year Crystal Shawanda, CCMA Rising Star Shane Yellowbird, Multi-Award earning group Doc Walker, and Country Songwriter Charlie Major. 

Tracy is currently working on the follow-up to her 2009 JUNO Award nominated debut No Lies.

ABOUT THE AMP MENTORS IN RESIDENCE:
The AMP Mentors in Residence will be available to answer questions about the business side of the music industry, equipment and instruments, recording, performing, songwriting, and musicianship for the months of September, October, November, December, and January.
